I've been following this young talented musical artist from the time he first made his way on myspace with DTP (disturbing the peace, def jam label with Ludacris). It's been over three years and Now Steph Jones is making way with his own songs. His hit BEAutiful  and Southern love has his fan falling off their seat and blowing speaker box from the obsessive play back. I finally got a chance to meet him In NYC over the summer of 2010, where he did a min free concert at BestBuy Union Square NYC. He song a viarity of hits from John Legend, Robin Thicke, Music Soulchild, and a few more. afterward he performed his hit BEAutiful and Southern Love. As I stroll through out NYC (yet again!) I stop by the apple store to buy a screen procter. (Yes I use an iphone anti-glare flim set for my sprint phone.) This location has a viewing center to showcase their products.


Also the floor rep can charge you purchase with the itouch, and then email your transaction. You gotta love technology!

Akron woman finds out LeBron pendant worth thousands

When Vaneisha Robinson bought a diamond studded pendant in the shape of LeBron James' number 23 jersey at a yard sale four years ago, she thought it was costume jewelry.

"I used to go to high school with it around my neck, not knowing the value of it," Robinson said.

Robinson got curious about the pendant's value a few months ago when she noticed the diamonds were set in the same way real ones are. She took it to a local jewelry store for a once-over.

"They tested the diamonds and they told me that it was real and that I should invest in getting it certified," Robinson said.

Robinson, 20, who is an amateur boxer, saved $200 to pay for a certified appraisal by the International Gemological Institute. The pendant she paid $5 for four years ago is worth nearly $10,000. She's put the jewelry up for sale on eBay.

Despite the backlash caused by James' decision to leave the Cleveland Cavaliers and play for the Miami heat, Robinson believes the pendant will sell for top dollar.

"LeBron James (sic) brand will never die out," she said.

"If he got a ring it might go up in value. You never know."

I found out that on wednesday's night from 9pm-10pm puma sport club in lower manhattan (south street seaport) has an open bar event going on. I hit up my boi orlanzo and we took off. Free Drinks! need I say more. While drink they offer fooz ball tables, table tennis, and chark. The chark is for those who want to leave their mark on their 7 foot by 14 foot long chark board wall.

Next time you want to catch a taxi here in new york, why not catch one of the new hybrid toyota camry, nissan maxima, altima, or chevy.... I won't be suprised if the have a lexus or BMW cab out there...

so i'm back in new york city and what better way to enjoy myself, by talking a stroll through manhattan catching a sunset picture of the empire state building as it lights up for the night..... man it feels oh so good!

Memorial Day weekend

Once again toe knee (TK) amazed me. It was memorial day weekend as well as his birthday weekend. I headed to LA on a Thursday night to start the weekend off. That night I met a new friend that's apart of TK social circle. Her name is Jenny and she is one of the Harujuku girls, and also a dancer for Madona. We went out to a chilled but hyped spot call Lemonade in downtown LA. The party didn't spot til 2am... for you east coast peps, west side stop at 2am.... DAMN! that sucks.

Friday night we didn't have anything planned, but as usual TK gets a call and we are up and out. This time we went to three different spot in Hollywood. The first spot was where I met his friend JD and his girls Nancy. JD is on tour with Chris Brown and was in LA for the weekend. While chillaxin' with Nancy and JD we met one of JD friend Columbus Short. Yes Columbus Short from stomp the yard. I don't know how but TK friends are connected to some outstanding people in the entertainment industry. That night was cool until it was time to head to the third spot. I don't remember a thing after throwing back some drinks with Nancy, JD, TK, Columbus and his boys. more pictures and recap on tk's blog click here

Saturday night TK, Jenny and I headed to San Diego to one of TK's ongoing weekend venue at Confidential.... Jenny and I end up clicking and having a blast the weekend.

Sunday was the big day, not only was it TK birthday but it was also the HOB (House of Blues) memorial day/ TK birthday bash thrown by Toe Knee. That night was as the come back of Urban FX a dance group that TK is apart of, and yes he performed. (link coming up soon)...... After the bash we headed back to the hotel room to unwind and celebrate the rest of TK birthday..... As you can see JD party te night away..... he is passed the eff out from hennessey black, and severl other drinks that night..... TK and DJ Mark invited me to seasound grill in mission bay..... their grilled cheese is off the hook and as you can see loaded with cheese. the sour dough bread is amazing. TK and Mark had the steak with mash.... which is another pleasing dish at seasound... welcome back to diego.. love it!...next party at confidential.....

I know I am late but I recently seen Alpha Dog. One word “heartbreaking” I didn’t know that movie would have such an effect on me. I normal don’t get caught up in movies and show, but this one was different. I guess you can say it touched me because it’s based on a true story (may-be) who knows.

If you have free time I recommend you pick up a book called Drood. I was reading a bulletin in the train and decided to pick it up. I must say so far it amazing even though it’s fiction. It’s a story about Charles Dickson, and some events he has encounter in his life.

Chris Brown’s Alleged Assault Charges Could Cost Him His Endorsement Deals

He's been the squeaky clean pop R&B poster boy since he hit the scene in 2005 with his #1 debut single "Run It."
He is not Michael Jackson, but he surely lit a fire under Usher's behind.
He has not publicly feuded with another artist.
He's been dating his female counterpart Rihanna.
He even had a Doublemint commercial.
He is 19-years-old.

There are a half a dozen upcoming teen male pop R&B singers signed to major labels who wish they could achieve his success.
But if the allegations are true that Brown assaulted a woman, his career will be in jeopardy.
According to the reports from the most reputable news sources, Brown turned himself in to authorities Sunday evening in connection with a charge of making a criminal threat. After being interviewed by police, he was released on a $50,000 bond.

Brown is being accused of assaulting a woman Sunday early morning and fleeing the scene, leaving her in a car in the Hancock Park section of Los Angeles. As a result of the issue, Brown canceled his performance at Sunday's 51st Grammy Awards where he was nominated for two trophies, best pop collaboration for his song "No Air" with Jordin Sparks and best male R&B performance for his ballad "Take You Down."

It is unclear whether or not his girlfriend pop star Rihanna was the victim, however, insiders are speculating that it was the "Umbrella" singer who made the 911 call to police, complaining of being attacked.

Rihanna also withdrew from her scheduled performance from the Grammys.
The couple was last seen together Saturday night when they attended the annual pre-Grammy party hosted by music veteran Clive Davis. Reports indicate that they were happy.
On Sunday a spokesperson for Rihanna told People magazine that the singer was well, but did not confirm whether she was involved in the altercation.

I hate to speculate on matters like this until all of the facts have been revealed. But I do want to consider what the ramifications might be for Chris Brown if he is found guilty of hitting a woman.
Aside from potentially serving jail time, Chris could face a backlash from his fans and the companies that endorse him.

Wrigley said Monday that it will be suspending its Chris Brown ad campaign for Doublement gum. In a statement the company said it would delay any advertising or related marketing until the situation is resolved, AP reported. Wrigley added that Brown should be "afforded the same due process as any citizen."

Advertisers and sponsors are quick to disassociate themselves from artists with controversial histories. Ludacris lost an endorsement deal with Pepsi in 2002 when The O'Reilly Factor host Bill O'Reilly attacked the soft drink giant for supporting an artist whom O'Reilly described to have socially irresponsible lyrics. And last year, Verizon pulled the plug on its sponsorship of Gwen Stefani's tour after opening act Akon was seen on a web clip dirty dancing with an underage girl at one of his club dates.

Just last week, we saw the consequences Olympic gold medalist Michael Phelps faced when photos surfaced of the 23-year-old swimmer smoking marijuana via a bong pipe.
This could potentially affect Chris' invitation to other award shows and might even prompt fans to not support his upcoming concerts.

Respected hip-hop historian and journalist Dave "Davey D" Cook said that Brown losing endorsement deals is hardly the key issue. He wants to know how the community will be affected by having role models in Brown and Rihanna entangled in a widely publicized domestic matter. "The music industry, they'll circle the wagons and protect him," Cook said via email. "They'll spin the story and even go out after the victim which is happening now with Rihanna, who is catching heat from people accusing her of snitching."

Cook adds that he would like to see both Brown and Rihanna get help, but he believes that the music business will first put emphasis on keeping Brown's career afloat. "Chris Brown is a hot commodity making money in a crumbling industry that celebrates abusive culture, i.e. pimping," Cook said. "He'll be protected and held up to high esteem just like Ike Turner, Dr. Dre and Big Pun and numerous other artists and entertainers accused of domestic violence."
Many of Chris and Rihanna's fans are already forming opinions about the allegations.
After the news reports were released, fans expressed their opinions on social networking sites.
I've read many status updates on Facebook that conveyed anger towards Chris Brown.
On Rihanna's MySpace page, some users left her encouraging words, telling her that they are praying for her, that she will be okay, and to do what's best.

Ironically, few harshly condemn Brown. Some even take his side, citing rumors that Rihanna may have provoked a fight between the couple.
The comments on Brown's MySpace page clearly support the artist. One reminded him that he is innocent until proven guilty, while another told him not to worry because everyone makes mistakes.

We will see how the reaction develops as more of the story comes to light.
Brown is scheduled to go to court on March 5.
