National Cemetery USA Arlington

What an amazing day. I’ve never knew how much fun Washington DC could be. I’ve lived in NYC for over 25 years and never ventured to DC until today.

With the guide of a native SoCal friend Tarzan who relocated to Baltimore I was able to experience DC over a two-day trip within the past two months.

Thanks Chris

John Fitzgerald Kennedy 35th President of The United States of America 1961-1963

Kennedy served in the Navy during World War II ending his time as a lieutenant. He was given command of PT-109. When a Japanese destroyer rammed the boat he and his crew was on, they were thrown into the water. He was able to swim four hours saving himself and a crewman, but aggravated his back. He received the Purple Heart and Navy and Marine Corps Medal and was hailed for his heroism.
