WORLD OF DANCE NYC 2012

It just keep getting better and better, whats else should happen. On Saturday 26 of May 2012 Brooklyn Tech High School hosted WOD (world of dance) NYC a hip-hop, urban dance competition that is taking over the world. I had the pleasure to join the event and see some amazing groups. Amongst my favorites is The Wanted Ashiqz, who took home second place.

The Wanted Ashiqz is a Bollywood & Fusion dance Troupe. Even though only placing second, they were the crowds favorite, best theme, and best costume. When they perform its always filled with energy, non-stop action, and never a dull moment! I love the fact that they always included their traditional heritage dance mix with today urban dance style. Take a look at the one and only "The Wanted Ashiqz".

This full moon that we experience is called a Supermoon

In 2001/2002 my family lost someone dear to us, the music entertainment industry lost two wonder artist, and America lost thousands. To everyone that year who are gone but not forgotten party like a rock star in eternal life. shake baby shake!

The 23^rd of august 2011 NYC had a small rumble. Yes! An earthquake happened in Virginia, a 5.9 to be exact and; trembles was felt as far north as Canada. Most people where freaked out, but I on the other had was somewhat excited. I have been in four earthquake but all in California, it’s nice to see mother  nature hasn’t forgotten about the east coast… lol or is it a way of the earth trying to evict us? If I’m not mistaking, there is also a hurricane on an approach to NYC... The east coast is alive and well… welcome to the ending of summer….

Last but not least, many new Yorkers are unaware that NYC is on a major fault line. One shift of this fault and NYC is going down… here are further details on this 122^nd street fault line….

I've been following this young talented musical artist from the time he first made his way on myspace with DTP (disturbing the peace, def jam label with Ludacris). It's been over three years and Now Steph Jones is making way with his own songs. His hit BEAutiful  and Southern love has his fan falling off their seat and blowing speaker box from the obsessive play back. I finally got a chance to meet him In NYC over the summer of 2010, where he did a min free concert at BestBuy Union Square NYC. He song a viarity of hits from John Legend, Robin Thicke, Music Soulchild, and a few more. afterward he performed his hit BEAutiful and Southern Love. I was bored at home so I thought to myself why not go to atlantic city for a few hours. I did and there is my result... I end up breaking even, but I think I lost about 200 Ugh the life I live... Gotta love it. :-D

As I stroll through out NYC (yet again!) I stop by the apple store to buy a screen procter. (Yes I use an iphone anti-glare flim set for my sprint phone.) This location has a viewing center to showcase their products.


Also the floor rep can charge you purchase with the itouch, and then email your transaction. You gotta love technology!

Akron woman finds out LeBron pendant worth thousands

When Vaneisha Robinson bought a diamond studded pendant in the shape of LeBron James' number 23 jersey at a yard sale four years ago, she thought it was costume jewelry.

"I used to go to high school with it around my neck, not knowing the value of it," Robinson said.

Robinson got curious about the pendant's value a few months ago when she noticed the diamonds were set in the same way real ones are. She took it to a local jewelry store for a once-over.

"They tested the diamonds and they told me that it was real and that I should invest in getting it certified," Robinson said.

Robinson, 20, who is an amateur boxer, saved $200 to pay for a certified appraisal by the International Gemological Institute. The pendant she paid $5 for four years ago is worth nearly $10,000. She's put the jewelry up for sale on eBay.

Despite the backlash caused by James' decision to leave the Cleveland Cavaliers and play for the Miami heat, Robinson believes the pendant will sell for top dollar.

"LeBron James (sic) brand will never die out," she said.

"If he got a ring it might go up in value. You never know."
