Morning Breakfast (greek yogurt oat meal pancakes)

My deepest apologies, I went into hiatus and left you all in a distress. I will do my best to update at least once a week or twice a month. Please forgive me and continue to support by reading, commenting, and posting suggestions. You may now follow me on Instagram  (doclevy), Facebook is listed in profile. The hash-tag doclevy will showcase the meals, and hash-tag tristanalton will display my view of life here on earth. Thank you all...

Good morning everyone here is a quick and easy tasteful breakfast :
What you'll want to gather is:

Fresh Oats
Greek yogurt
Honey
Baking powder
Cooking spry (I rather unsalted fresh butter)
Milk (use Almond milk for flavour)
Eggs
Mixing bowl or mixer
Stove or hot plate
Pan
Spatula

In a mixer or bowl combine:
1/2 cup water
1 cup oats
1/2 cup Greek yogurt
1- 1 1/2 cups flour
1 tbs baking powder
1/2 cup honey (or to your tasting)
1 cup milk (adjust to the texture of mix after combined)

Second bowl:
Mix two eggs with nutmeg and pinch of salt. (Add a 1tbs of sweet condensed milk for extra flavour or vanilla  extract)

After you combine the ingredients in the first bowl (texture shouldn't be smooth and liquefied)
Add eggs but don't completely integrate eggs with pancake mixture. This will help with fluffed pancakes

Over a pan spray or coat with butter
Medium low heat.
Use a 1/2 cup measuring spoon to equally distribute the mixture to the pan.
Cook for approximately 2-3 minutes then flip
Once you notice this status of your pancake it's time to flip.

Set aside and repeat until all batter is used.

Then garnish with your choice of topping and enjoy

Serving size approximately 4 pancakes:

Broil fish filet

Today I'm going to tell you how to make a simple dish which can either be use for lunch or dinner.

Broil Fillet of Fish

-Fillet of fish
-olive oil
-parsley or green onion
-season of your choice ( I use simple black pepper, cayenne pepper, onion powder)

Sauce
-greek yogurt
-honey
-salt (your preference not necessary)
-black pepper  (I use cayenne)
-lemon juice  (I just squeeze a lemon)

I season my fish lightly. The reason is because all the flavour would come from the sauce. If you want to use a simple mixture of spices go with old bay.

-set you oven on broil
-use a oven approved pan, lightly spray or smear with olive oil.
-cook for about 3-5 minutes flipping once.
-remove from pan and let sit

Sauce
-combine 1/4 cup or 1/3 of greek yogurt  (depends on the serving size) I used a 1/3 because I use 6 pieces of fillet

2 tsp of  honey
salt, pepper, and squeeze lemon or about 1-2 tsp of lemon juice

Whisk together test for taste and adjust accordingly

-chop parsley for garnish.

-drizzle sauce on fillet or serve on the side

Once complete service with you choice of side (rice, veggies, etc.)

cooking 101 filet mignon

It's been a while, my apologies to my readers. I'm going to try something new or I should say I'm going to add something to my posts. I enjoy cooking when I'm not traveling across the world. Today I decided to post one of my meals.

Depending on the thickness of the tenderloin it can cook quicker, be sure to watch it to get it to the right level of wellness

The tenderloin should have a crispy top and bottom before you place it in the oven keeping in mind the 3-4 minutes of cooking on both sides.

Here are some ways to test your judgement on the tenderloin done-ness

1. If you know how to cook and have cook a filet mignon use your previous judgments

2. A cooking thermometer with the proper gauges to tell you the wellness of your tenderloin

3. There is a feel method, I'm not a pro at the feel method. I just cook it until I think it's ready, slice it open on check the level of wellness

Add the side of your choice. I like spinach with a dip I learn to make from a good friend. ( corn, black beans, onions, cilantro, and balsamic vinegar)

There you have it.  A beautiful meal with little stress on preparing and cooking.
