What an amazing day. I’ve never knew how much fun Washington
DC could be. I’ve lived in NYC for over 25 years and never ventured to DC until
today.
With the guide of a native SoCal friend Tarzan who relocated to Baltimore
I was able to experience DC over a two-day trip within the past two months.

John Fitzgerald Kennedy 35th President of The United States of America 1961-1963
Kennedy served in the Navy during World
War II ending his time as a lieutenant. He was given command of
PT-109. When a Japanese destroyer rammed the boat he and his crew was on, they
were thrown into the water. He was able to swim four hours saving himself and a
crewman, but aggravated his back. He received the Purple Heart and Navy and
Marine Corps Medal and was hailed for his heroism.

John F. Kennedy, Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy, one un-named daughter who died in infancy, pre-mature son Patrick Bouvier Kennedy
Senator Robert F. Kennedy and Senator Ted Kennedy are the only immediate family members buried at Arlington National Cemetery. His son John F. Kennedy, Jr. and his wife Carolyn were cremeated and their ashes were spead at sea and his daughter Caroline Kennedy Schlossberg is still living.
